"Love and support the Jewish people and Israel"

It's a command from God since Genesis and it will not return void to you

OPENING: Genesis 12:3 (NKJV)
"I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."

SCENE-SETTER: The state of Israel is the only nation on earth created by a sovereign act of God who gave the "title deed" to Abraham and his descendants forever (Genesis 13:14-17). Throughout their history, the Jews have suffered many forms of persecution from various groups of people and, to make matters worse, there's traditionally been distrust between Jews and Christians (e.g., The Crusades), all wrapped up in global anti-Semitism. From the OPENING verse, God makes it clear that whatever harm comes to "the apple of His eye," he will repay that group/nation, in kind (Zechariah 2:7-9). Moreover, He commands us to pray for and materially support Israel.
This American nation is blessed by the God of Abraham, who begot Issac, who begot Jacob; Jacob was later renamed to Israel by God (Genesis 32:28)
Without Judaism, there would be no Christianity¹
- Consider what the Jewish people have given to Christianity (and the world):
  The Bible
  The prophets
  The Patriarchs
Mary, Joseph, and Jesus of Nazareth
  The 12 disciples
  The apostles
- While Jesus said to the Samarian woman that "salvation is [for only] the Jews," (John 4:22) it was then offered to Gentiles due to Jewish disobedience/sin and not putting their trust in Christ (Romans 11:11)
  - Therefore, in that same verse, God decided to provoke the Jewish people by offering salvation to the Gentiles
  - 2 Peter 3:9: "The Lord is ... not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."
Romans 15:27: Therefore, as we (Christians/Gentiles) are partakers of Jewish spiritual things, we should support them--including financially and materially
Psalm 122:6: "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you."
- Genesis 12:3: Related to that Psalm, God's blessings flow from Him *through* Israel to the nations that love her
Matthew 25:34-46: Jesus considered the Jewish people His family so on Judgment Day, He will judge if you were merciful to--in His words, "My brethren"--and if so, you will receive mercy ... and vice-versa
For most of my life, I wondered why the United States of America--only 250 years young this year--"came out of nowhere" to become the mightiest and most powerful nation history has ever known
- While there are many reasons, I now believe the overarching reason was then-U.S. President Harry Truman being the first world leader to officially recognize Israel as a legitimate Jewish state on May 14, 1948, only eleven minutes after its creation²
- Conversely, Britain was not only the first country in medieval Europe to expel Jews, but also one of the last to take them back 350 years later in 1656¹
  - Today, as a consequence, Britain (like Spain with the Spanish Inquisitions) is a weakening, second-rate power
As mentioned in the scene-setter, men and nations who abuse the Jewish people will be dealt with the same way by God
- The Egyptians killed Jewish children in the Nile River and, in turn, God sent the plague that killed every firstborn in Egypt without the lamb's blood on front their door¹
Exodus 17:4: God has gone as far as destroying kings and empires; where are:¹
The Medes and Persians?
The Babylonians?
The pharaoh who murdered Jewish babies in the Nile?
The Amalekites? (Exodus 17:8-16)
The Philistines?
The Grecian Empire?
The Roman Empire?
The Ottoman Empire?
Mussolini, Stalin, and Adolf Hitler?
Conversely, there are security and innovation blessings to those who partner with Israel¹:
- The Israel Defense Force (IDF) brings great stability to a troubled Middle East
  - If the IDF could not sustain peace in the region, the U.S. would have to commit thousands of troops at the cost of billions of dollars to maintain its national security
- Israel votes in agreement with the U.S. in the United Nations more than any other nation, including England, France, Canada, and Germany
- Israel is a marvel of modern agriculture, inventing drip irrigation and producing more food in a desert than any other land
- It is among the world leaders in medical research and technologies, inventing the Pill-Cam and early detection/prevention of certain cancers
- It is among the world leaders of high-tech inventions such as the computer processing chip in all desktops, laptops and notebooks, mobile phone technology, and laser-projection keyboards
- It has one of the largest discoveries of natural gas off the coast of the Mediterranean
CLOSER
Israel is a shining beacon of democracy in the Middle East and the above "security and innovation blessings" are just a handful of specific ways that Israel-loving nations can be blessed by God through Israel
- Conversely, history shows what happens to those who don't
It is impossible to love our Savior and be a Bible-believing Christian if you do not love, pray for, and support the Jewish people
We will all answer to God for how we treated the Jewish people, the Apple of His eye; if we showed mercy we will receive it ... if we didn't, we won't
Why has global anti-Semitism been so rampant throughout history to this day? I submit it's because Satan knows where to attack for maximum effect: the Apple of God's eye and the nuclear family
